Hello-hello and welcome on my web-page!

I am a third-year PhD-student in the Centre for Digital Video Processing (CDVP), member of the National Centre for Language Technology (NCLT) in Dublin City University.

My research interests lie on the intersection of the Information retrieval and Speech Processing. The project I am working on is "Improving Indexing for Search of Spontaneous Conversational Speech".

I am supervised by Dr. Gareth J.F. Jones.

My PhD is funded by the Science Foundation Ireland.

I am proud to say that I am involved in the social life of the School of Computing, being Post Graduates Representative.

Since 2010 I am involved in the organization of the MediaEval benchmark.

Since 2011 I have joined ISCA Student Advisory Committee and currently I am ISCA SAC General Coordinator.
